Installation of a Camera and video equipment for the Family Medicine Consultation Room in UHKDU

The Centre for IT Support and Development Services of Kotelawala Defence University has successfully installed a Camera and video equipment at the Family Medicine Consultation Room in University Hospital.
This installation will better facilitate professors, lecturers and consultant family physicians in teaching medical students and postgraduate trainees. It will be an advantage for the students to gain better medical communication skills and to gain knowledge on delivering compassionate care to patients who seek consultancy at Family Medicine Clinic. Currently this is the only such medical communication skills learning laboratory in Sri Lanka.
