Sri Lanka Army Inter- Regiment Indoor Rowing Meet - 2012
Sri Lanka Army Inter- Regiment Indoor Rowing Meet commenced on 24th May 2012 morning, at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University premises.The opening ceremony was graced by the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Army Rowing Association, Vice Chancellor of the University and the Colonel of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment, Major General MP Peiris.
Participants of 12 Regiments together with the participants of Sri Lanka Military Academy and the Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps are currently displaying their rowing skills through keen participation at the event.This is an event where the young athletes are provided an opportunity to present their talents in sports and gain the admiration of all military personnel.
The finals of the events will be taking place at 1600 hours and the closing ceremony will be graced by the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General, Jagath Jayasuriya.
