KDU Runners-Up at the Henry Dunant Moot Court Competition

The KDU mooting team emerged first runners-up at the National Rounds of the 17th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition, organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo. This year saw the highest number of participating teams in the history of the competition, with nine of the top law schools in the country competing for the coveted title, in the longest running national level moot court competition in Sri Lanka. The KDU team battled through six rounds of intense moot, before missing out in the finals, where the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo emerged champions. This is a significant achievement for the KDU Faculty of Law, being one of the youngest law schools in the country, which has rapidly been gaining recognition in the field, at many major competitions. The KDU team consisted of the following competitors.
