KDU now is a registered institution in eRA Commons

Researchers at KDU now can submit applications for grants awarded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH)  of the US Dept. of Health

eRA (electronic Research Administration) is an IT infrastructure to manage the receipt, processing, review, award and monitoring of about $34 billion in research and non-research grants awarded annually by NIH and other grantor agencies.

A university is required to register in eRA Commons to electronically submit a grant application. Legal signing authority at the university (Vice Chancellor)—known as signing officials (SOs)—can register their organizations. Once the organization is registered, the SO can register or affiliate the principal investigator (PI) in Commons.
