The Fire Fighting and Rescue Training Program at the University Hospital, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Section of University Hospital Kothelawala Defence University has successfully completed a 14 days Fire Fighting and Rescue Training Program as it’s 2nd training session cooperate with outside organizations according to the Annual Program of UHKDU.

The training program was conducted by Fire School and Fire Tender Maintain Squadron (FS & FTMS) – Sri Lanka Air Force, for five (05) Officers and nineteen (19) servicemen from tri services during the period from 11th July 2022 to 29th July 2022 at UHKDU- premises. All participants for the training program awarded with a qualification certificate issued by Sri Lanka Air Force during the closing address and certificate award ceremony was held on 29th July 2022.

The closing address was graced with the participation of the Dr. B Jayan Mendis the Executive Director of the University Hospital, Brig PS Thilakarathne, Director Medical Service, Col EMGHJB Dehideniya RWP RSP, Director Administration, and other tri service officers and UHKDU staff.
